COLD Drawing
Drawing is a metalworking process that uses tensile forces to pull, or elongate, metal. As a tube is drawn through a die, it stretches to become thinner – thus decreasing the diameter of the tube. This process produces stronger tubing with a higher degree of precision and improved dimensional accuracy and surface finishes.

Welding
Welding is at the core of our manufacturing competences in the production of stainless steel tubing. TUBACEX America's technicians are certified according to all ASME standards, and are especially skilled at TIG welding. TIG’s clean, quality weld meets the high standards for purity and performance required by our clients and their demanding applications.

Heat treatment
Heat treatment of steel tubing is the controlled heating and cooling of the tube’s metal to modify its physical and mechanical properties without altering its shape. The process involves heating metal to a desired temperature, insulating it, and cooling it (slowly or rapidly depending on the desired result). Applying a heat treatment to tubing is known to strengthen the metal and maximize its service life.

Cleaning
Even the highest quality steel tubing can’t perform optimally if its not free of debris and residue. TUBACEX America chemically cleans and then caps its stainless steel tubes to ensure that every piece of product in its inventory is prepared for the purest, most precise applications.

Surface treatment
Surface treatments remove rough surface metal, residue, and debris to create tubing that has a bright, uniform finish and is smoother, cleaner, and more corrosion resistant. TUBACEX America is capable of performing a variety of mechanical and electrochemical surface treatments, including electropolishing, in-house. In fact, through an advance, proprietary manufacturing process, TUBACEX America is capable of manufacturing finishes with low surface roughness, to deliver the smoothest straight-length stainless steel tubing on the market.
